Coming to art later in life, Queen Brooks has wasted no time in developing her own, unique voice. Working in multi-media, and often forming constructions, Brooks work is refreshing, honest, and captivating. Holding an MFA from OSU, Brooks has received the Lila residence in the French port city of Abidjan on the Ivory Coast. She has received many awards, including the Ohioana Career Award .
